I like this painting because it seems as if it is a collage of paper, but it actually is painted.

It is a fun painting that makes the viewer want to be part of it, the colors he used are very happy and offer contrast to the background.

Nancy and the Rubber Plant" - Alice Neel (1975)

This is a interesting painting to me, I have been intrigued by this artist through another Art course and have found more liking in her, Alice Neel has a great talent of bringing forth the soul of a person, the subject here is her daughter in law.

The facial expression is strong, as in all her paintings the feeling you get is very intense.
